Public art events that entertain, enrich, inform and leave a lasting legacy.
Connecting businesses, artists and communities through the power of creativity, Wild in Art events have enabled more than £19.5 million to be raised for charitable causes through auctions alone and helped millions of people of all ages to experience art in non-traditional settings.
Our art trails provide a platform for amateur and professional artists to showcase their work and to date our events have contributed more than £3.5 million to creative communities.
We design programmes that resonate with children and young people, the outcomes providing a unique insight into the aspirations, hopes, and dreams of future generations. Our learning programmes have engaged over 950,000 young people so far.More
Where it all began
Wild in Art’s Story
It’s been 14 years since Wild in Art first came to the world’s attention with Go Superlambananas, part of Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture celebrations. Since then, we’ve gone on to animate cities across four continents including Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Christchurch, Cape Town and São Paulo.
Closer to home we’ve created public art trails for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and the Ryder Cup and developed events the length and breadth of the country. From our first national trail across Scotland and our first touring installation, Gratitude, to trails in Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, we’ve been privileged to work with many wonderful partners in many different locations.
In 2022 we are looking forward to our first ever trail in Northern Ireland and much much more.

Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne is for everybody! Whether you are a business interested in sponsoring a sculpture, an artist who wants to design and paint one, or a school or community group who would love to adopt a little Shaun as part of our learning programme, there are many opportunities to join the flock.
A word from Steph Edusei
“Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne is our way to thank our brilliant community of supporters for being by our side through a very challenging couple of years. It’s time to have some fun, and what better way than releasing a flock of beautiful sheep across our region for everyone to find and enjoy!” Steph Edusei, Chief Executive, St Oswald’s Hospice
