Sarah Heseltine is a paper cutting artist and printmaker living in Chester-Le-Street.

Inspired by the local area, this design depicts Shaun as a magpie crusader, he is a mascot and protector of the city of Newcastle. Shaun is wearing his magpie feather cape and hat (disclaimer: no magpies were harmed in the creation of this outfit). Shaun is also wearing his black and white striped knitted vest and shorts set (models own). He is flying high in the skies over the city of Newcastle keeping a watchful eye on the Toon with local landmarks surrounded by green trees and leaves to represent Newcastle’s green spaces.
