Our sculpture was inspired by…All children being able to communicate, colours, values and inclusion.

We involved the children and asked them for names. Sherbet the Signing Sheep was a clear winner. We explored colours and the children chose which colour they wanted to use, whilst we encouraged them to put their hand prints on our sheep.

In nursery we are focused on all children being able to communicate and took this as an opportunity to teach our children how to sign animal names in Makaton.
