Our sculpture was inspired by…A celebration of reading for pleasure at The Dales.

Our new school library openened in our Pacer train situated on the school playground of our Blythdale site. On both sites the children have been encouraged to read for pleasure and reading areas have been developed.

The children discussed their favourite books and authors and wanted their design to celebrate reading. They are looking forward to Shaun returning from the trail and being placed in the library as a “mascot” of the train.
