Our sculpture was inspired by… pride in our magnificent area and its special landmarks.

This model depicts some of our region’s most outstanding landmarks. The much-loved Tyne Bridge is a symbol for Geordies all over the world and represents the gateway to our magnificent city. Meanwhile the world-famous Sycamore Gap tree is one of the most photographed in the country which stands in a dramatic dip in Hadrian’s Wall in the Northumberland National Park. No Geordie Shaun would be complete without the black and white stripes of Newcastle United.
