Jess Turner is a mixed media artist based in the North East. She works across a range of disciplines, materials and scales, and some of her favoured mediums include acrylic paints, watercolours, polymer clay, felt and stained glass. Jess enjoys experimenting with her creative practice and she creates artwork in a range of styles from illustration to realism and more abstract forms. She particularly enjoys using colour and bold patterns to bring her work to life. Jess is also passionate about the North East and she is motivated to create art for social good. With a personal connection to St Oswald’s Hospice, over the past couple of years she has raised funds for the charity through sales of her creative work.
Dotty About Ewe is inspired by those who bring out the best in us, and those who encourage us to be ourselves. Jess hopes that the bold Pop Art inspired pattern and Shaun’s happy expression will make people smile.
