Our sculpture was inspired by…Happiness: The joy of a bright, sunny day and the calmness of a clear, cool night.

We asked all children, from nursery to year 6, to let their imaginations run free and create a colourful Shaun that evokes happiness. The vast majority of the children included rainbows in their designs so we definitely used that idea!

One of the children divided her Shaun straight down the middle which gave us the idea of Day & Night…luckily another child had made a night-time scene so, through this amalgamation, we came up with our final design.
