Our sculpture was inspired by…our new semi-formal curriculum, celebrating learning in a sensory and practical way.

Cordelia is inspired by the semi formal curriculum at Gibside School, which is designed to meet the varying needs of their most complex learners. The curriculum focuses on learning in practical and sensory ways to develop engagement and key skills.

In lessons, the children worked alongside each other to communicate their preferences, engage in tactile exploration and experiment with techniques.
