Our sculpture was inspired by…Our projects, past art pieces and community heritage.

All youth club members created designs using their own inspirations and messages they thought our Shaun should represent. Our core design group then picked out any common themes, which were colour, our art, community heritage, and rainbows.

We arrived at the final design of Shaun wearing a miners helmet to show our village heritage with a paint splattered body for colour and represent our creative side, with the legs incorporating our favourite past art designs.
