Our flock of sponsors is filling up fast!

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be introducing you to the baa-rilliant companies who will sponsor a sheep on the trail and help make Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne the most talked about event of 2023 – as well as support the work of St Oswald’s Hospice.

First up is marine insurance company, NorthStandard, our trail ‘Community Partner’ and sponsors of previous St Oswald’s Hospice trails, Great North Snowdogs and Elmer’s Great North Parade. This time, they are sponsoring two sculptures, which will be located within walking distance of their Newcastle Quayside offices. As Community Sponsor, they will work with their other charity partners, including Ouseburn Farm and local artists to help design their sculptures.

Kate Richards, Senior Solicitor at NorthernStandard said:

“This is a fantastic initiative that helps raise the profile of St Oswald’s Hospice.  It gives NorthStandard the opportunity to bring various charity partnerships together and the trail itself is a lovely way to showcase our city.”

On the morning of Thursday 9th March, some of NorthStandard’s CSR team will be speaking at an ‘Inspiration Event’ for Shaun on the Tyne sponsors at the Great North Museum: Hancock, encouraging other businesses to join the flock. If you’d like to join them and find out more, please book your place here.
