Trail newbies Elavon ‘herd’ about Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne when they spotted some unusual activity around Quorum business park, in North Tyneside where their office is based.

Staff at Elavon, who provide card payment solution and merchant services to a range of companies, had spotted the arrival of Shaun sculptures at Quorum, where a unit is being used as a painting space for the art trail artists. With interest piqued, Elavon approached the Shaun on the Tyne team to see how they could get involved, and a perfect partnersheep was formed..

Hemlata Narasimhan, European President of Elavon Merchant Services:

“We want to support the local communities where our people live and work. As part of our Employee Value Proposition, we thrive when our employees are proud to work for Elavon. Shaun on the Tyne is such a fun way to engage our people, and it is the active participation element of this particular sponsorship that appealed to us. Here at Elavon, we look forward to partnering on this initiative.”

The trail is organised by and in support of St Oswald’s Hospice, and Elavon already have a connection to the charity as they provide the card payment systems used across the hospice, we are looking forward to working more closely with their team and introducing them – and the region – to their Shaun the Sheep very soon.
